No temperature adjustment on Mira 722

Have a Mira 722 surface mounted shower mixer fitted early 80s on gravity system and the temperature adjustment lever no longer changes temperature - can increase temperature of shower by turning on tap in adjacent washbasin. I see from previous discussion that a strip down and lube kit may solve problem. If not case, is there a suitable new mixer unit that would fit the existing pipework centres?

Yes you can change this valve over fairly easily however it depends on how it was originally piped.

Having said that the seal kit and all the internal components are still available so there is no reason why it can’t be serviced
