Mira 723 - hard to turn on and off

The on/off flow control on my 723 shower becomes very stiff and sometimes jambs halfway within a short time after servicing. Does this mean the whole cartridge needs replacing or can the central flow control alone be replaced?

You should maybe try a www.showerdoc.com/mira-spare-mira-723-service-pack-936-59

to see if this solves the problem first.

Have used service packs - the stiffness returns after two or three uses of the shower.
It seems as if the central spindle jambs in the grooves that guide its to & fro movement.

There are many parts that you could try, spindle etc , or maybe a new cartridge maybe the way to go.
