This question is regarding Mira 723 Thermostatic Cartridge Assembly - 902.65

on fitting a service kit the shower is on hot all the time will not run cold

It sounds like the cartridge is not fitted properly. There are two cut outs on the body of the cartridge that need to be positioned so as that they both contain the raised section in the body of the shower.
If these are ok make sure that the water inlets to the shower are fully open and the hose and head are clear.
