Mira 8 service pack

Good afternoon,

I am about to order a service pack from you. I must have replaced the bits 7 or 8 times over the last twelve years or so and I have now learnt to have a kit to hand.

When I service the shower everything is fine for up to a couple of months and then the big black fluted knob used to turn it on and off gets stiffer and stiffer until two hands are necessary to operate the knob.

I have used the grease provided with the kit and I have even bought lithium grease (a suggestion from the web) but nothing seems to cure the problem.

The entire mechanical core of the shower has even been changed.

Am I doing something wrong? Have you any suggestions please?

Thank you

The internals have become worn and as you screw the valve open and shut the internal components are slightly misaligning and by having to use both hands you are forcing them past each other, this is also why you are having to replace the seals so regularly they are wearing out because of the wear on the other components.
