Mira 88B fast Leak

I have a Mira 88B. After it started leaking I fitting a new service Kit ie: O rings, Piston assy, & Temp Spindle Assy and de-scaled the other internals, but now its worse than ever?

Also what are the implications to having this model connected to a Combi Boiler set up?

If it is dripping then it is the two small ‘O’ rings on the end of the pistons that shut the water off make sure that they are correctly in place and are not damaged.

The 88 is designed as a low pressure valve, however if the pressures on the combi are not too high and they are reasonably well balanced the 88 can work.

Basically my advice is try it and see if it doesn’t work then I would go for one of Mira’s 415 range
