This question is regarding Mira 88 B - post 1984 - Shower Spares

mira 88b leaking

Hello, i have a mira 88b which appears to leak from the cover assy (part 14 on your diagram) when the tap is fully open. Unfortunately i could not see this during normal operation until removing tiles and plasterboard to find the leak. Then checked by blanking the outlet and turning on shower to reproduce the leak.



any ideas on what can be done to fix this ?

It is probably the cover plate seal that is faulty.

Fitting a service kit should solve the problem.
