Mira 88 mixer - water too hot

Hi There,



I have a hot water mixer (Mira 88) and recently the water coming through the mixer became stupidly hot. I've noticed when I switch to cold water only there is barely any water coming through. I have replaced the cylinder stat on the hot water tank so think the only other possibility is the mixer thermostat needs replacing. Could you please advise and suggest a spare

You may have a problem with the cold water supply to the shower, and this would need to be checked.
If this is fine then fitting a service kit usually solves the majority of problems with this shower.
