This question is regarding Mira 88/88B Mixer Shower Service Pack - 936.12

Mira 8 shower thrust washer

I appear to have lost the thrust washer for my Mira 8 shower. Can I get a replacement anywhere or get the dimensions to have one made? The flow spindle is very hard to turn and I think the reason is the thrust washer is not on.

I am afraid that they no longer do the service pack for the 8 and I am sorry I have no idea where you would get anything like these thrust washers or indeed the sizes

I have spare packets of the service packs, but they have never included a thrust washer! I am sure somebody out there
must have an idea of the size and according to the video, it appears to be made of copper. Is there a retired engineer out there who used to work for Mira willing to earn a reward for this information?

The thrust washers were part of the 8 kits

The washers were bevelled / cone shaped which is the part that made them springy also doubtful they were copper, copper would be to soft.

You could try Mira they could have some old engineers in a corner somewhere :-)
