I have just replaced all the seals with a seal kit but the temperature is scalding hot. could I have incorrectly assembled the thermoscopic

components?

Two thoughts the shuttle is sticking (part 16) or have you assembled or could you have assembled part 7 and its associated circlip and washer correctly.

If these parts are not assembled correctly then you can’t adjust the temperature correctly.

If they are OK then turn part 7 back to the cold stop, remove it and refit it at the position of the hottest stop refit the circlip  and test, if it is still too hot then repeat the above.
