Cold water pipe is warm and therefore causing shower to cut out??

I have a mira advance 9 ATL and it kept cutting out (reset light), a mira engineer come to check and said it was a fault with my flat as my hot water pipe and cold water pipe are too close to each other causing the cold water to be warm. he said the solution would be to run my cold bath tap until the water runs cold and then turn on the shower cold and then slowly increase the temperature. this is a lot of hassle! I have since spoken to a plumber who has suggested that I look for a part that could be fitted to solve the issue. any idea's if there is a part for this issue?

The reset light usually come son in these showers when the flow valve is faulty. But it maybe also caused by a faulty relay board.
It is sometimes better to change both.
