Mira Advance ATL

Dear Sir I currently have a Mira Advance Thermostatic ATL which is about 12 years old. I recently had a Mira service engineer in to check the shower as it was not running right, he said that to repair the 2 possible faults would cost not too far short of the cost of a new unit. He also said that the new Mira Advance ATL is suitable to fit in place of the current one without any change to the current layout as the back plate is the same. Can you please advise me if this is correct before I buy a new unit? Thank you very much for your time Steve Moorhouse

This depends on just how acurate your "about 12 years" is below is the link to advance's after 2003

In either case the change over is fairly easy.
