Mira advance atl flashing and clicking

When I pull the pull cord all the lights on the shower flash and it makes a clicking noise it does this repeatedly until the pull cord is powered off

Try and re commission the the shower. If this fails you may need a new front cover.

A similar thing happened to my Mira Advance ATL. I live in a hard water area and noticed a build-up of limescale around the shower-buttons and temperature dial and wondered whether a limescale build-up pushing behind the buttons/dial might be interfering with the shower electronic controls. I removed the shower front-cover and cleared the limescale both by gently scrubbing with a soft toothbrush around the buttons/dial and by tapping the cover quite hard with my hand to dislodge stubborn scale and then shaking these free of the cover. The shower worked fine for around a year before the problem recurred around nine months ago. A repeat 'treatment' again 'fixed' the problem...
