Mira Advance ATL - No Power

Hi, I have a Mira Advance ATL 9.4kw (Serial No J97D 25/12). The shower was working fine, but then the power cut off. There were no warning lights or illumination on the power/flow buttons. The unit appeared completely dead. The main isolator switch was turned off and back on and the shower worked fine again for another 5 to 10 minutes, but then the power cut off again. This cycle was repeated two or three times, but eventually the power to the unit would not come back on. The voltage was checked in the shower unit and that was fine. Therefore the fault does not lie within the isolator switch or the external wiring. Would you have any idea what the fault might be? Many thanks in anticipation

If you are sure about the isolating switch then the most likley thing is a faulty relay board.

Hi George,

Many thanks for diagnosing the most likely fault. As it appears that a replacement relay board is around £85 and the shower unit itself is not exactly new, then I think I will probably buy a complete new shower.

Many Thanks
