This question is regarding Mira Advance ATL - post 2003 - Shower Spares

shower cuts out

I have a standard mira advance which after a few minutes of working cuts out and will not restart even if you turn the mains off and back on. There are no lights on the shower after it cuts out even though the power is still on. Would I be right in thinking that the pub is faulty and needs replacing?

I have a Mira Advance Flex; it cuts off after 1-2 minutes of usage (the hotter the water the quicker it cuts off). I usually cut the power off wait few seconds and if works again for a minute or two.



Could it be the thermostat? If so do you have it in stock?

I have installed a brand new Advance Atl, in place of an older identical model.I can not get it to run for more than 1 to 2 minutes before it cuts itself out. No warning lights come on , on the front to indicate what the fault is. It doesnt trip the RCD, After 30 seconds or so it allows you to restart. Tried running it on cold and it runs ok. Only when I gradually increase the temperature does it cut out, again after 1-2 minutes-just enough time to get shampoo all over you
