Hot water during commission cold after

Hi, I have a Mira Advance ATL thermostatic 9.0. When I commission the shower the water heats up and commissioning appears to come to an end as expected. I then turn the power off. When it is turned back on the unit beeps three times but the water is cold or luke warm at best. This triple beep happens each time the power is turned back on, whether it has been commissioned or not. The water is still either cold, it only ever warms up during commissioning. The temperature dial has no effect on water temperature. Have you any ideas what might be wrong. Rich

I am presuming that this is a new shower and therefore needs commissioning, if this is the case you are best to contact Mira, I have heard of a few that are difficult to commission

Hi, thanks for your reply. This is not a new shower. It has failed to run hot water before and commissioning solved the problem. Unfortunately, it isn’t working this time.

Try the recommissioning sequence with the temperature dial set at 9.

Thanks, I’ve tried this and it hasn’t worked either. Have tried it at 8 and also at 5. Still no hot water after commissioning.

It could be either the front cover or the relay board that is faulty. Given that it goes through the commissioning I would think it maybe the front cover that is faulty,.

That’s great to know thanks. Just one more question: Do the front covers come specifically designed for either 9kw or 9.8kw versions of the shower or do they fit both types of shower.
