This question is regarding Mira Advance Standard - post 1995 - Shower Spares

Full blast cold

This is the first problem with the shower in over 15 years of daily use by two people. It happens intermittently, sometimes an entire shower is OK and sometimes it just keeps doing it upon switch on or during a shower. During a normal shower the flow from the head suddenly goes to maximum and consequentially cold. Then after a few seconds of this the Low Pressure light comes on and it switches off, and the Low Pressure light goes out leaving the Stop light on. There is masses of water pressure - so much that on full cold (either as selected or when the fault happens) the head is rotated by the force of the flow.

You may have a faulty ,

as well.
