Mira Pronta not firing up boiler

Everytime I use my shower the boiler doesn't fire up. It does for the sink taps though. Occasionally the boiler will fire up for about 5-10 seconds then shut off and not start again. I have changed the cartridge as I thought that this was causing the issue by not requesting enough hot water, but this doesn't appear to have fixed the issue. I want to check the filters but I cannot get the grub screw undone. Is there any advice you can give on both these issues?

You need to get the grub screw out to check the filters , as this seems to be the source of the problem.

I am struggling to get the grub screw out as the hole in the screw appears to have lost its grip.?.?. the hex key seems to just turn in the screw and doesn’t shift it. I have the right size key as it unscrews the other grub screws.

I would appreciate any advice you can give to get this screw out.

You may have to drill the grub screw out if it has rounded off inside. Then you will have to get a replacement.
