Mira Aquations - Play in flow control

Hi

I have a Mira Aquation mixer shower which is 8 years old and whilst working perfectly a lot of play had developed in the flow control lever (approximately 3mm out from the mixer unit away from the wall). I would rather sort this before something goes wrong. Is this most likely wear in the flow cartridge assembly and I should replace this? I would also probably replace the seals behind the fascia plate at the same time.

Many thanks in advance

Before ordering anything check that handle retaining screw has not come loose as this is one possibility.
If this is not the case the remove handle and check spindle extension etc for damage.
Once you have established fault required part(s) can be ordered online via the link below.
