This question is regarding Mira Atom Bar Mixer Ceramic Flow Cartridge - 1744.107

flow cartridge for Mira Atom ERD

my parts book that came with the shower shows this as a 1744.107, but your info states that this is not suitable for the shower bar with diverter, which I have. (I assume diverter means the vertical pipe to an overhead shower head) Can you advise please?

Item numbered 7 on that parts list is the Flow Cartridge for this.

Oh Dear! The new cartridge arrived promptly thank you, went to fit it and it is the wrong one! See photos attached.

Thanks Doc, I don't think it is the right one though, the old one appears to be 1 inch diameter, the one you suggest is 3/4 inch, according to the description.

Not sure if you got my last message, see below, please. I don't think the valve that you are suggesting is the right one, mine is around 1"" diameter, the one you pointed out says it's 3/4 inch.

Flow cartridges come in either 3/4"" or 1/2"" so I would try the one suggested.

Sorry not to have got back to you sooner, for some reason I didn't see your message until tonight.
I don't understand regarding the size of the flow valve, I removed the old one and measured it with callipers, it is definitely one inch, but you advised that they come in half inch and threequarters of an inch. I still have the one I purchased from you on 30th December which is also 3/4"", and it is certainly too small. (It's a MIRA1663.117)
Obviously I would like to return it if I can, preferably in pat exchange for the proper valve.
