I am looking to buy this shower unit but the distance between the bar/control and the overhead pipe is too short. is there any around this? Or am I unable to lengthen the pipe ?

I am afraid this pipe is made specifically for this unit andnone of the standard fittings will fit it therefore there is no way to lengthenit The only thig I can suggest and it may not be practicable is to rais theheight of the bar.
