Mira Azora not heating correctly

Shower was leaking at the inlet valve - so I fitted a replacement the original had cracked ... all went back together fine - and so went through their "commissioning" procedure - which is; set to position I and bring temp setting up then down again, switch to position II - the temp comes up a little - set to III and then bring temp up - water is hot all fine for a shower. But switch off power at the on/off button - and then switch on for next shower some hours later - and water is cold wont warm up at all - unless you go through the commissioning procedure again as above - then water is hot again !! HELP !

After you fitted the , www.showerdoc.com/mira-inlet-valve-assembly-1563-540 , did you turn the belt pulley fully to clock wise, and set the arrows on the cam inline with the one on the flow valve?

Hi Barrie, thanks for getting back - yep and took cover off and checked again ... arrows line up ! ... any other ideas ?

I would check the connection is sound between the switch assembly and the flow valve.

yes checked the 2 switches both work i.e. the control poles of the switch make when each of the two pressure related switches are pushed, its difficult to see how much pressure is needed to make the switches tho i.e. when the shower is on you ... but you can see the pressure valve arms moving.

The strange thing is that it all works fine when "commissioning" ... but its once its then powered off - and all settings left in the same "hot" position - it then doesn't heat up when power switch is back on ?!

The switching assembly works by the grey arms moving up to activate the micro switches.

These return to their start position when the shower is off and then come back up to the setting they were left in.
Yours are going back , but not returning.
The white switching arm may be off or damaged for this to happen.
