Replacing the Solenoid Coil

My Mira Azora shower has stopped working. The power light shows, but there is no water coming out. I ordered a Solenoid Coil to hopefully fix the problem, but now having recevied it and taken the front off the shower unti, I cannot find the exsisting solenoid coil to replace it. According to the diagram, it is at the bottom, marked no. 11, but I cannot see how I get it out as it's just a little black unit. Please could you help?

The solenoid is part of the  flow valve and is behind the black part that you mentioned. The flow valve needs to be removed to replace the solenoid.
