slider base clamp broken

When our shower was installed the plumber broke the chrome base clamp of the shower riser bar. He glued it it and it worked fine because we never adjust the height and we left it. When someone tried to adjust the shower head height the base clamp cap came away from the wall. Is the item number 1688.185 the correct item to replace it with as there is no image available

Slider rails etc. are not shower specific. You would have to send a picture of the one that you have.

You can replace it with a ,

or something similar.
