Water leaking from bottom of unit

Hi, please could you tell me if I need to replace the Pressure Releif Device as water is flowing out of bottom of unit. Hose is not kinked, shower head looks a bit black lime scale I believe but water flows from shower head okay. Before ordering parts I would like to know if PRD is the problem. Once water leaks from bottom of unit then electrical breaker turns off. Please advise if it's worth repairing if so part needed. Many thanks

Without being able to see the shower I can't be sure but from your discription it sounds like an activated PRD

If the PRD has activated then replacing it is fairly straight forward.

I presume that you mean that the MCB at the fuse box trips?

The PRD shouldn't cause this however if the inside of the unit is wet then there may be somme shorting inside the box.
