This question is regarding Mira Azora/Sprint/Sport/Zest Thermal Cut-out (TCO) - 416.41

Mira Sport Max 10.8Kw - intermittent overtemp light on, then runs cold

Overtemp light comes on intermittently, sometimes as soon as medium or high switch pressed the first time, then shower remains or runs cold. Clearly it can't be overtemp instantly. Low flow light is off, and this problem can happen even with control set to max flow, blue end. Can't be a TCO tripped as that is permanent, this is intermittent (resettable when shower switched off). Logic leads me to think a faulty temp sensor somewhere, but can't see one, unless it is in the TCO unit.

The things to check first are:

1 That the main valve coming into your house is fully open.

2 Then check that the valve on the line to the shower is fully open.

If these valves are not fully open then there may not be enough water getting to your shower to open / close the safety device that allows power through to the elements and will therefore show low flow
