leaking shower

is this the part that stops the water from cominig out of the shower when turned off? i have a shower that wont turn off/ leaks

Rather than fitting a rather expensive cartridge this problem can almost certainly be cured bt fitting a service kit which can be ordered online by clicking on the link below.
