This question is regarding Mira 723 Thermostatic Cartridge Assembly - 902.65

Mira 723 Shower Pressures

I need to replace part of my mira shower, Can you please tell me what the difference between Part no: 902.65 and 902.70. What does HP and LP stand for.

Hi Gillian

HP for high pressure and LP for low pressure.

Roughly HP for combi boilers and pressurized systems.

Once again roughly LP up to 1 to 1.5 bar HP from 1bar on.

Also the LP cartridge can work on higher pressures as long as the cartridge is in good working order, has been serviced and pressures are fairly evenly balanced.
