This question is regarding Mira Excel/Select Thermostatic Cartridge - 903.33

Hot water only

My excel mixer is no longer drawing in cold water. There is an odd click when the thermostat knob is turned. I opened the mixer up as far as the cartridge. The image you have shows a red tab on the upper side of the cartridge as photographed. On the reverse side is a blue plastic tab. The tab is broken off. Am I correct in assuming that the cartridge assembly requires replacement?

Spot on yes it needs a new cartridge.
