This question is regarding Mira Excel/Select Thermostatic Cartridge - 903.33

Shower knob for water flow is just clicking and no water coming through. Have stripped back casing and a black tooth appears broken off although all teeth appear ok on cartridge. Is this a replacement cartridge? As handle is also broken and lead starting to split is it better just to replace with a new Excel?

You can replace the cartridge, knob set and hose cheaper than a new shower.
