This question is regarding Mira Excel/Select Thermostatic Cartridge - 903.33

Mira Select Circa 2002

No hot water will flow from the shower. I have swapped the cartridge with the other shower in the house and thats ok. I have removed the cartridge and hot water flows out from the hot supply. The hot supply pipe which is fed from a hot water tank behind the shower is initally hot when the water is turned on but gets colder the longer the shower is left running. Is the cartridge faulty or can the catridge allow cold water to flow to the hot supply pipe? The cartridge is set to high pressure. Can i buy the key to alter it to low pressure?

You may have a faulty cartridge or the one you have maybe needing to be reset to low pressure at the back.
