Mira Element Exposed Shower

This shower squeals loudly after a few minutes of operation. The cartridge has been sprayed with WD40 to lubricate the inners to no effect . What would be the solution to this please?

It could just be the cartridge is worn and needs replaced.

The usual cause of squealing is unequal pressures high pressure on one side (Mains) and low pressure on the other (Tank in attic)

A new cartridge can solve the High / Low pressure problem however it is not guaranteed
