This question is regarding Mira Elite QT 9.8kW Pumped Electric Shower (White/Chrome) - 1.1845.001

Pumped Shower

We have a MIra Elite 2 shower unit in our top floor. It is at least 10 years old. It is not heating anymore and we would like to replace it with a complete new shower unit. We need a pumped unit because of the low pressure. Will the Mira Elite QT easily replace, screw into the same holes, and connect up to the existing piping and electrics.

The QT is not exactly the same however it is the best / easiest replacement

George - Can you be more specific and advise which items are different to install the QT to replace the Elite 2.

For example do we need to employ a plumber to change the water connections.

Because I am considering changing the shower myself as I am a good do it yourselfer [ and employing an electricianl to pass the electrics before startup ]

Can you send us a couple of photos of your shower with the cover removed.

George - As discussed please find attached pictures of the Mira Elite 2 with the cover removed. Also removed is the small cover covering the water inlet pipe.

Please advise differences or changes to the pipework, electrics, or holding screw positions required if I replace this Elite 2 with a QT.

There is no difference the Qt is a 100% retrofit over Mira Elite ST.

George - You mention the QT is a 100% retrofit over the Mira Elite ST, but is the QT a 100% retrofit over the Mira Elite 2 .

Yes it is , they all have the same fittings etc.
