boiling noise when switching off

RE: Mira Elite ST Runs normal for about 3 minutes, then cold.(Lo flow light does Not come on) It then returns to hot after a minute or so. When switching off it makes a noise like a kettle boiling. The TCO seems to be working fine. Water input is good. Previous posts here suggest that is a micro-switch issue. Could you please advise how to test and replace the micro-switch. I searched for a video but the link does not work. Thank you...

Hi Ian,

You are correct that the TCO is working ok. if the shower continues to cut the TCO in then it will eventually stay cold and not reset.

It does sound like one of the micro switches that shuts down the elements is faulty, and this is why you can here the boiling noise after you have switched the shower off.

You will need to check items 7 / 8( Micro switches) from the spares list in this link provided - www.showerdoc.com/mira-elite-st-shower-spares
