break down of thermal switch on Elite ST 10.8 kW

The thermal switch on the Elite ST 10.8 kW breaks down very often. On the last occasion it lasted only four showers. What could be the reason.

Check that the top of the heating can where it sits is not deformed and that the holding pillars are square to the flat top as the most likely explanation is distortion of the mounting putting stress on the bi-metallic operating disc in the switch.

your element is full of lime- add carbon filter before water inlet to clear lime from water supply
