As you say the flow switches are OK, then the next thing Iwould look at is the supply to the pump first I would check that the inletfilters on the pump are OK.
It may be worth when you have the pipes disconnected tocheck the flow in to the pump you can do this by popping the pump supply pipeinto a pail ant opening the inlet valve this will make sure that you gave agood and steady supply to the pump.
You don’t mention which shower you have, the shower valvemay also have filters it may be worth checking them.
