Pump not cutting in

Hi I have an Mira psi pump installed in our dorma roof space to boost the hot water to the bath and basin. The pump cuts in fine when I run the bath but not all the time when we run the basin tap. The system is gravity fed with the HWC downstairs and the CWS tank in the same loft space, which gives me a negative head for the basin but not the bath. I know that this pump cuts in with a flow switch and that is not working all the time because we don't have enough head of pressure to give enough flow and sometimes we have air problems. Can I change this flow switch to a pressure switch and do you think that would work? What would be the best pump to replace it taking into account my circumstances. Any help or advice would be much appreciated. Phil

You may be able to connect a pressure switch to the pump , but you would need an electrician to tell you where or if you can do this.
The other option is to fit a new negative head pump such as the ,
