Leaking Essential shower

There is water dripping from the bottom of my Essential shower unit (post 2000) and on inspection, it appears to be coming from the top of the Pilot Valve and running down the back of the casing. Is this the likely source and can it be replaced. The part is showing as obsolete but it appears to be almost the same as the Mira Sport (96-98), will that part fit ?

Yes the Pilot valve is obsolete,  however he only difference between the essentials pilot valve and the Sport Pilot valve is the part that carries the knob and these can easily be swapped over.
