Saddle clamps

I have just bought saddle clamps that cover the inlet connector and the flow reg assembly, they do not fit. I have stripped the shower down & believe that I have the correct shower details. The clamps are tight & do not fit snugly. Any ideas?

These clamps are pretty standard across a number of Mira showers is it possible to send as a photo or two of the problem.
