Pump problems

My shower whines as the hot water comes through and the pressure drops. It sounds like the pump is struggling and I am worried that it will burn out. I have checked te filters and they are clear. What might the problem be?

Are you certain that the noise is coming from the pump (It is just possible that the noise is coming from the mixing valve)

However if it is coming from the pump then it sounds like you need a new motor and pump unit, you may get away with just fitting a new set of brushes to the motor.

We would always advise changing the complete motor and pump unit however the brushes are much cheaper.
