Shower - but no power replace motor?

..... meaning, when I turn the dial, the pump doesn't start. (I've checked the fuse on the isolating switch). If it's the pump assembly is this difficult to replace, or should I get a specialist in?

If you are sure it isthe motor you may get away with just fitting the carbon brushes.

(see video below the brushes)

Removing and replacing the pump.... Is it difficult?

Well not for me, but then I’ve done it a few times! I guessit is what you feel competent with, if you are unsure get a professional.

However

Remember to take photos as you go

You need to turn the water and power off to the shower.

You will have to undo the clamp at the bottom of the motorand pump unit slacken off (not remove) the screws on the flow valve and inletvalve.

Then pull the head of the pump forward and up (some waterwill come out this should only be the water that is in the pump)

Replacement is just the reversal of the above, the onlythings to take particular care of is the two ‘O’ rings that join thethermostatic valve to the motor you have to make sure that they don’t roll backout of position as you refit the pump.
