Mira event xs power shower

When you switch shower on it briefly runs cold, before running hot even on the cold settings, does the stat need replacing?

I am not sure if I understand this correctly, however it will run cold for a short time as it draws the cold water through the hot pipe.

The other thing that could be causing this is one of the filters being blocked so it is worth stripping them out and making sure that they are clean.

The shower runs hot even on cold settings, is it likely to be a stat?

First check that the filters are not blocked.
