flow control knob not adjusting flow

The rate of flow is stuck on 16 litres per minute and turning the control has no effect - although there is a "click" at one point in the turning process. Fault finding charts suggest either the potentiometer (change the harness assembly) or the pcb but I'm wondering if , because of the "click", it could just be the knob itself not functioning properly. Can The Doc advise please?

You will need to check if the knob part that touches the potentiometer is broken. If not then you may have a faulty www.showerdoc.com/mira-harness-assembly-thermostatic-components-identified-c-453-10
