Pump/motor runs but no water

Shower working normally, then water dies away. Tried again but no water. Tried a further time a few hours later and all seemed to be working OK. Then water died away to zero flow, but pump still running. Checked filters (OK), read your site and checked solenoid (has a resistance of c. 1 MegaOhm). I am assuming a faulty solenoid has a higher resistance than your quote for a working one (c. 3.5 K Ohm).

Is this correct ?
