Shower rose loses pressure - water slows and stops

The shower slows and stops. I detect that the temperature increases slightly as the flow slows then stops. I wait and the cycle repeats. Flow - slows - stops, in about 15 secs. I'm assuming that as its thermostatic the valve is trying to prevent scalding so if the cold is blocked its shutting off. I've removed the cartridge, checked the inlet filters all ok. Pressure/feed seems ok as there is another shower linked and that is performing ok. New cartridge?

Yes it does sound from your comments that the cartridge needs changing.

ok I'll order the cartridge. Do you sell the shower head rose insert too? I have replaced the insert once but do not have any spares. Cannot find it on your site. When you buy the BIV version you get a replacement bag with the rubber mat and o rings

Not sure which head you will have it depends on the age of your shower.
