Fitting a Mira Cartirdge

Hi,

I have just ordered a new cartridge for our mira shower as the handle wouldnt turn. Can I just switch the water off when fitting it or do we need to drain all the water from the tank?

Your help would be greatly appreciated

If you have valves that will stop the hot and cold flows to the shower then you do not need to drain the tank.
