mira excel thermostatic cartridge assembly 903.33

Temperature control was stuck so bought a new cartridg. The new cartridge does not seem to fit? We replaced it but the shower is leaking, doesn't seem to form a seal.

You don't mention where it is leaking from.

However the most common place for a problem is the two thin oval seals at the top and bottom of the cartridge.

One of these may have fallen out or may be misplaced or one of the originals left in place meaning that you have a double thickness seal not allowing the cartridge to seal.
