mira excell shower cartridge

My oap parents shower keeps dripping, I am told I need a new cartridge, but the butterfly knob is yellow and not purple as shown in the picture. Does the colour make any difference to the model ie pre 2003 or post 2003...

The cartridge with the yellow butterfly knob is the old version of the 903.33
