the water control knob is hard to turn,badly sticking half way on turn. had a new combi boiler fitted 2 years ago..otherwise working ok

The internals of the valve are worn you will need to fit a new cartridge.

Be careful with this until you replace the cartridge they can jam completely and you won’t be able to turn the water off.
