mira excel mk1 '90-'96

Hi, the excel is in GWO but the tiles & backing board are not!

To take the mixer off the wall, once I have undone the h&c compression nuts is it straightforward to pull off the entire fitting just leaving the backing plate on the wall? It looks in your diagram as if the body is held to backing plate only by 2 allen/socket head screws but do I need to do anything else before removing the body?

Thanks

You have it right and there are just the 2 grub screws holding the valve to the mounting plate and nothing else needs undoing.
