mira excel knobs & cartridge

the dials on my shower have all broken off would i be better off with a new shower or would i be better to replace the parts, parts of the cartridge have broken as well. also is it possible to have the hot and cold water supply mixed up because it screams when in use

Yes a noisy cartridge is usually caused by the cartridge being worn or the pressure is too high (5bar max)

 

I would think as long as the pressure is Ok a new cartridge and a knob pack will tidy the shower up, you will have to check if the shower is post or pre 96 also if it is built in or surface mounted regarding which knob pack you require.
